Home School Association (HSA)
The purpose of the St. James Home and School
Association
(H.S.A.) is to “enhance the parents’ role in the education of their
child(ren) by providing an opportunity for parents and teachers to work
together for the good of the child through a variety of volunteer
opportunities.
The organization shall be composed of ALL the parents and/or guardians
of children enrolled in St. James School, and members of the faculty of
St. James School. The members are eligible to vote and hold
office. The membership shall be led by the Executive Board
and is
responsible for carrying out the mission of H.S.A. through its many
volunteer opportunities.
Every month the St. James H.S.A. will hold an Executive Board Meeting
in order to discuss and plan upcoming activities/events.
General
H.S.A. meetings are held every other month. All
parents and/or guardians of St. James Students are invited and
encouraged to attend these General meetings. This
is a perfect opportunity for parents to add constructive analysis of
the organizations activities.
