Financial Aid
Tuition assistance is available for St. James School students from several sources.
Parish Tuition Assistance:
This is available to registered members of St. James Parish. The application may be downloaded from this site. Funds awarded come from the St. James Parish Tuition Assistance Fund. Awards are based on several factors including participation in the life of the church. Completed applications should be marked "confidential-tuition assistance" and addressed to the Principal. The pastor and principal together review the application and supporting materials in order to determine the appropriate award amount.

Diocesan Financial Aid:
Financial Aid is available from two sources through the Diocesan Financial Aid Program. Application must be made through the Private School Aid Service (PSAS). Application packets are available in the school office and rectory. PSAS calculates the "need" amount and sends that information to the diocese. The diocese then determines award amounts to come from the Bishop's Education Fund (for qualifying Catholic families) and the Scholastic Opportunity Scholarship (for any qualifying family).

Pres-School Financial Aid:
A separate pool of money exists for pre-school students, but the same application process applies as for the Diocesan Financial Aid. Be sure to request the supplementary "Preschool SOS Supplemental Application" form.
